We are seeking your support!
The South Carolina Calvert Academy is seeking your input and support to help us launch the best possible charter school for South Carolina families. There are several ways you can help!

Pre-enroll your child/children in the South Carolina Calvert Academy. (See PDF version here)

Your pre-enrollment will help the SCCA indicate public support to the South Carolina Charter School Advisory Board. It is not a binding commitment to enroll--final enrollment commitment will be confirmed at a later date. Your pre-enrollment will help support the founding of SCCA.

The South Carolina Calvert Academy (SCCA) is in the process of forming a virtual charter school through the South Carolina Public Schools for the 2008/2009 school year. The SCCA will serve students from anywhere in South Carolina in Kindergarten through Eighth Grade.

Parents pay no tuition for students to attend South Carolina Calvert Academy. Students are considered to be enrolled in a public school. SCCA provides textbooks, lesson plans, daily activities, and other curriculum materials, along with a loaned computer, printer and subsidy for Internet service.

All materials, including the computer and reusable curriculum materials, must be returned if the student is no longer enrolled. Students are required to take all state mandated, standardized tests. Such tests will be coordinated by SCCA and will be taken in person at locations designated by the school.
